To help find out why Filipino women (Filipina) seem to like foreign men, I asked Angie to provide a guest post.

Angie is a 21 year old Filipina from Samar.  She spends a lot of time on dating sites and enjoys meeting foreign men. Here is her take on it:

Some girls I talk with who are married to foreign men say,white or American guys are more open minded about sex, life and everything else.

When it comes to the looks department, I think it is a matter of preference.  For me, a hot guy is a hot guy, whether he is Filipino, American, German or Martian, hehe.

Many Filipina think having a foreign man will provide them with financial security.  They are thinking that all foreign guy are rich .  They believe that if they marry a foreigner they will have a far better life

Of course, some just simply fall in love.

My suggestion for foreign men looking to enter realtionships with a Filipina is to be sure the girl is open about your expectations from the relationship.
