The Philippines was one of the first nations to really catch on to SMS messaging, or texting as it more commonly referred to these days. In fact, the Philippines is still regarded as the texting capital of the world.
Sending texts is the preferred method of communication. Often times even when in the same room, Filipinos will send you a text message instead of talking!
One of the common types of texts sent here are known as “quotes”. These are pre-written sayings sent to greet friends.
Since so many are sent around, I decided to start copy and pasting ones I receive here under the category of SMS Text Quotes.
